Actually here’s a photo of the kitchen at night for you so you can see what I mean about the darker colour. Again this is looking from the outside in and the inside of the glass is pretty dirty. https://i.ibb.co/r2RrP8w/F0-ECEBA3-900-F-42-E2-B98-F-C39-D85-B39747.jpg Thanks again! Really appreciate ...
Thanks again! Really appreciate it. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do.

Hi mate, Please see photos below. Note: these are taken on the outside. It seems a lot darker than we were anticipating based on the sample, but it could just be because we aren’t looking at it close up. I also do not like how they have sealed our waterfall ends and front cabinetry with white sikaf...
Thanks so much for sharing this. Looks like lighting will affect the shading of the grey. I'm completely ok with a dark...

From my understanding, colourbond is fine if it's hidden from view e.g rear and sides. They would only require timber when you are on a corner lot where one side is exposed e.g road/lane. Although, I still need to clarify this as I am now looking for fencing quotes. I got some clarity on this, fina...

Makes sense! Thanks for clarifying :-) I wonder what will happen with all the people that have done colorbond.....I've seen a lot of it in the area! Do you know what the BAL rating would need to be in order for home to need a colorbond fence? My understanding is it has to be 12.5 BAL rating or abov...

Hi Cooky, Our bench tops went in today and are Oyster. I haven’t been able to get proper photos as it was dark when I went around this evening but will be going this weekend so can take some photos for you, however these will be from the outside of the house. I’m unsure if this is useful for you bu...

Hi! I am considering putting Caeserstone's oyster 4030 stone in our kitchen. I've found it really difficult to find consistent images of this. Some show a very dark grey, others light etc. The CS display centre is closed at the moment so cant go to see it either. If anyone has this installed - would...

I went to the New Breeze office today. The guidelines as stipulated during settlement stipp apply, in fact now they are more detailed. There's a form you fill in once OC has been received, and someone from Dahua Group will come out to inspect all guidelines have been met and only then will your $10...

Haha yes, definitely would be nicer in my pockets! Thank you, I'll give them a call on Monday to get some clarity. From my understanding, timber is cheaper but I much prefer colorbond. It's a much better product and far easier to keep clean and maintain. If I can do that without losing the bond mon...

So weird they gave my money back! Don't mention me then :-P If you have already, no big deal. I already got my money back so there's not much they can do! Up to you, you could contact that lady directly yourself if you'd like to. She might just give it back to you. I think timber looks ok, it's jus...

Hey :) In my opinion, it's best to speak to council, not New Breeze. I feel council knows more and they will be the one generally enforcing rules, not the developer. Get the name of the person you spoke to so you have a record. Also, all the houses very close to us are all colour-bond. When I spoke...

Hi Everyone, Can anyone recommend a good fencing company? Also, what should I expect to pay per square metre roughly? I've always gone for colorbond but this time we are required to install timber and I'm not across the typical costs for that. Thank you so much! Hey :-) who said you need to do timb...

Hi Mate, I personally went to the council a month back they told me 6 to 8 weeks but if I am building a studio than it would take 16 weeks that's what they told. Are you building a studio as well or is it just the house?? Regards, Mohan House and granny flat. When I lodged I was told approximately ...

Hi all, didn't hear back from anyone about the sound barrier for the freeway next to us in Bardia. What should I do? Should I start a petition to present to the council?!
