Thanks Renman. Our budget is probably sitting around 800k at the moment for a 50sq house plus pool and landscaping on top of that. Although we’ve paid our initial $1500 deposit, by the sounds of it, might be worth looking at smaller builders too. Appreciate all the advice - lots of food for thought....

Has anyone extended their double storey house by 0.5m and know the rough cost? Did you mean outwards? We extended ours out 400mm so the garage was 1m setback (estate guidelines) that was $2400ish Thanks Ssjo.
