My partner and i are just about to put in our keystart application today. Our repayments will be quite high (total end amount after rebates 434K @ 5.17% means repayments of roughly $595pw). SO just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and if they could give me a heads up on roughly how...

Been quite the past few months; our finance got knocked back with keystart! :( Reasoning being: a couple defaults on an account from last year! Keystart have advised us everything else was perfect but the account with the default needs to be closed for 6 months from the last payment on it (this bein...

uh i see! i guess it works out well then if keystart require all your build contracts ect anyways, i just found it funny! did keystart come back to you for any extra paperwork or was it a straight put in application and accept? im abit nervous they will come back and ask for more bank acc paperwork...

Hi there, welcome to the forum! We went through Keystart, their turnaround was great. Submitted for pre-approval and was told the next day we were pre-approved. Bit late on the reply here so might be too late for you! But a couple of thoughts from my experience: - didn't check the depth of our wardrobes so the standard IKEA wire baskets won't fit (by 5mm). So work out if there any off-the-shelf type products you want to use in wardrobes/cupboards/rooms and...

We are about to build nearby Midland and nearby the river - reactive soil and clay involved - so possibly need C5 footing. Haven't started site works yet. The provisional amount kept aside now is 25k for sitecosts + 4.5 k for stormwater connection. oh wow thats a hefty sum!

Honestly, if it were me, I would be reducing the size of the games room and adding a bit more into the Family which in turn gets you a bit more clearance around that island bench. 900mm is not a lot of room at all. Does that Games room serve some other purpose or is it just purely another living ar...

Best of luck KD1sthome, we went through Keystart and they were really good on their turn arounds. The critical path that we found was getting the final plans and contract signed for Keystart to review for final finance approval. Once you have finance approval, and the building permit, every thing s...

Yes that's right. So you'll do pre-start and then they'll send off to the Council for 'Council Approval' that takes 2 weeks, then once they have that back they'll apply to the Council for a 'Building Permit' that takes another 2 weeks. So you need Building Permit and Unconditional Finance approval,...
Uh i see! really hope it all flows through, thanks! cant wait till i can upload more !
