My issue is that we've had other plaster and paint problems whereby they said finishes can only be judged without glancing light as per standards and tolerances. I understand there is no chance they'd consider painting the whole ceiling, hence a patch up, hence a horrid looking shine as this ceiling...

Cracked mortar: Hey guys. Has anyone here had issues with mortar? Looking for some advise regarding how Coral handled it. Happy to be PMed. Thanks :)

If you are in Victoria your dwelling is under builder's warranty for 10 years. It is unlikely you have a serious problem but observe and keep photos and records. Your inspector should be able to give you proper advice. Thanks for the reply! In NSW it's seven years but the builder says this is not s...

hi all, although not specific to Coral, i was hoping to get some info on the handover process especially in NSW. Can someone tell me if this is roughly correct. There are so many moving parts towards the end of the build!! 1. Arrange H&C insurance prior to PCI 2. Receive final statement invoice...

So sorry to hear of your problems. Your house actually looks really lovely, but there is definitely a colour difference from the bottom to the top. I remember when we built our first house and looked at bricks, we went to their brick display and went "I like that one but I don't like the one n...

Been holding off any updates as not a whole heap has happened and to be honest, we are so angry! There is a beam running down the middle of the hallway. Asked around, other Hamptons don't have this issue. Was told roof trusses not made to specs of the house? Whatever- we couldn't have been bothered....

Have they done the brick clean? It looks a little bit like they might have cleaned the top but that they need scaffolding for and not the bottom yet. It's hats to tell in photos though. Our scaffolding came off today. I'm devastated. Has anyone else had issues with different brick batches? https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/81116_1529999632.jpeg

A lot has been done since last updated and now we are in week 12. Bricks, cladding, plaster, doors, waterproofing, architraves etc etc.... ......but I'm annoyed. Hi, We paid approx. $20,000 extra for site costs before our additions. Our additions totaled approx. $45,000 and I feel we REALLY underdone it - keep in mind that included big ticket items such as ducted for 12g. Also depends on your location. QLD customers seem to pay less - base price and extras. ...
