What a shame some people have to ruin this friendly Wisdom Homes thread. It's become annoying to read and follow. It's come to the point where I've had to delete my blog links on here. Here is hoping Homeone Forum administrators approve my request to deactivate my account.

@manhattan52 Thanks, OK, you have no specific knowledge or experience of Wisdom’s QA, I understand now. You are just so negative I can’t be bothered with you. Tell me about it... yawn.

Sorry back to landscaping.....has anybody tiled their front path instead of concrete? Our landscaping consultant has suggested this as an alternative and to continue the front porch tile down one step and then down the path to the passenger gate. I'm concerned about slipperiness....are all external...

Hi Teezed, Actually sorry lol, I meant after the 2 days, the quotes are taking forever to come back, but we did make some minor tweeks so not totally estimating's fault. Also anyone based in Blacktown council? How long did it take to get council approval once all your selections are signed off? Any...

@ASJ1981. How are your travelling? You must be getting close now? @Manhattan52, travelling along well i think! Just received an email today from Wisdom Landscapes saying our driveway works will commence on Oct 15. Hopefully that means PCI is just around the corner - however no date yet from SS. Our...

Thank you! I've emailed our bank contact to push this forward. My Broker said "we cant get any approval, unconditional or otherwise without DA approved plans and a contract. My suggestion to you is to find the cheapest builder and go with them and once your plans are approved we can get the ap...

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We were given a formal indication but no actual pre approval as we hadn't selected our builder. Difficult to do with a custom build - I wasnt sure it would get approved by council despite the size being the only non compliant issue. I'm extremely reluc...

@cooky - you definitely need to get another broker. A bank can give you Pre Approval based on your Tender. Before you sign a Contract, you should get a Pre Approval so you know what the bank is willing to lend you and what your lending capacity is. You do however, need a Final Contract as well as s...

Hi @Sreenithk - getting a Pre Approval now is a good idea - personally for me, it's peace of mind that 1) you can obtain a loan and 2) you at least have an idea of what your lending capacity is. Since your land is registering in Feb-March of next year, i'm assuming you are starting to do your homewo...

Looking good @Stukip and @melindaz :-D We will officially be at lockup stage next Monday. To be honest, it's only really starting to sink in now that we are almost on the home stretch. I feel like we've been cruising along pretty well and then next thing you know it's lockup

How is everyone progressing? Hi @becks81 - our stairs was installed last week. Our weekly update calls from SS are on Fridays so we're expecting him to say architraves and skirting was done this week when he calls today! I think the garage door may have been installed too. We only get to see the ho...

We had some that were done and some that were overlooked (over fridge and buttlers). Just escalated to SS who got them done afterwards but did delay things a little so best to remind them exactly where you expect the bulkheads to be - never assume. Thank you @jqcc0 - i wasn't sure whether it was a ...
