That's not to good, has the strip drain been tiled over on each end? Regards James Mason http://www.renovationjunkies.com.au The other end goes under the shower frame. The builder has refused to fix it, but I have a fair trading inspector coming to look at some other issues, so I'll show it to him....

Hi, As part of a new house build I've had some strip drains installed in the showers. For some reason they have been installed with gaps in the walls. Is there any reason for them to be installed like this? To me it looks awful and unfinished. http://i.imgur.com/IJxiCqr.jpg

Thanks for the advice Gibson. I will try and contact David Masterton. Below are some other issues i'm having that they refuse to fix. They built the parapet and balcony wall too high and are refusing to rectify it according to the architectural plans. They stuffed up the ceiling at the entrance door...
