No he doesn't give a date. He is just saying that it depends on the council's workload. But I believe he doesn't do any followup, otherwise he would know about the pending tasks from council's view such as the fees and contribution.

I checked the land title office website, their timeline is 8 working days.

I am just wondering how come their solicitor told our solicitor that their client is lodging the plan of subdivision early to mid Feb, and then settlement will be in next 14 days. We can't trust any of them anymore.
