Hi All, has anyone had any experience in buying windows from China for Flame zone? As i had a quote for 200k from Australia and China seems much much cheaper for the same steel framed 10mm window, this will stop you from having shutters. Dont really keen to pay 200k for windows to avoid shutter. Ex...

For those who have built (or are building) in the estate just wanted to see if you were hit with a section 94 charge from council. My understanding is it is a charge for the extra services they will need to provide to the area to service developments such as these however wondering if there is any ...

If you are concerned about the house heating up when the west sun hits your windows, the double glazing isn’t really going to help. It doesn’t stop heat from direct sunlight getting through. Low-e glass would be better, or vertical shading, or those black (but see-through) external blinds. Have you...

Hi we are building a house where most likely 3 walls will be BAL 29 (or BAL40 at the worst case scenario). Our living area faces west with bush view (other walls have privacy issues) so most of out wide features windows or panel windows will be in this side. I know BAL 29 and BAL 40 windows have a h...
