https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/1_1534381571.jpeg Fun and games as usual! Concretors left foam looking like a dog’s breakfast! Anyone got any tips of how to tidy it? Also would you put expandable sealant between the cracks or even along the foam to dampness getting through?

Hi everyone, A bit confused about storm water and what is included it says on the quote “storm water (to kerb) Hse<170m2, incl. flex connections, Bldr’s std - (Allowance) - $2200. Anyone had any experience with this. Does this mean that all the storm water is included? This is with Fairmont. Thanks,...

The builders have said this gap is normal and that it doesn’t matter as the gap has been covered with a wooden trim. Hmmm still need them to put something between it I think.

Hi, I just heard back from the builders and they have said they have ordered some flashing to cover the whole. I still think they are short one brick and should have extended the brick just by one. They have also advised the exposed surface is called Hardiflex which is a lightweight infill. I’ll hav...

Know it’s covered by the trim of the door frame but I still don’t feel comfortable knowing that the frame and the brick don’t meet behind that. Not much in the way of insulation and protecting my frame from dampness etc. Think I’m going to ask them to try and fix this. Want them to take away the tri...

Hi, Sorry just another question noticed a gap between my door frame where my garage door is and the brickwork. The builders have since put a wooden frame around the door to cover it up, but I’m worried that it hasn’t been properly fixed. Any ideas? Anyone had the same issues? Thanks, Katfife. https:...

Hi, I’m building with Fairmont down at Seaford Meadows and have noticed some holes in the roof line where the split level is in the roof. Is this normal? Thanks, Katfife. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/76830_1524920872.jpeg https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/76830_1524920891.jpeg

Anyone building down at Seaford Meadows on Black Lane? I have received my footings and it's come in at $7,700 more than the estimate.
