For those close to completion, have you had any contact with W's preferred supplier for shutters and blinds? It's just occurred to us that we are getting close(r) and haven't heard from anyone. We really don't want to be months in a house without window coverings. We haven't got a completion date a...

Hi guys, new to the forum here. I was wondering how much your shaker upgrades cost. We’ve just received our tender and there’s a 7k cost to upgrade to poly and then a 10k cost to upgrade to shaker profile. Does this sound right? We are building the Majestic. I feel like we are being double charged ...

On a different note, has anyone funded their build substantially or partially using private funds? How is the payment schedule affected by this? Hello, yes we have funded our build. No difference in payment schedule its as per contract.

Anyone had a situation where they didn't have enough tiles to complete the job. My ensuite is around 95% complete but they don't have anymore tiles and potentially 3 month wait. Just waiting on update from SS but keen to hear from those who have experienced @Doosra what tile is it? Maybe some past ...

Did anyone get any surprise charges during construction? A friend building with another big builder was telling me that they got charged $5K for temporary fences which was added very late. I then checked our tender and it seems to suggest temporary fencing is included, fingers crossed! Lots of surp...

My SS says we are tracking to milestones but my build time says 34 weeks and I've confirmed it's 34 weeks from excavation. I'm already at 34 weeks not including 3 week shutdown down period and I'm guessing I'm still 2 months from handover. Hope things pick up but I'd hope that wisdom also pay the p...

My understanding (someone please correct if I’m wrong) the cutoff for a slab before Christmas shutdown is 15 Nov. Which means you need to have EP, construction plans and Finances sorted and signed off before your file can move to Production Estimating and Construction. I would be working with your C...
