Please be careful, plasterboard is only 10-13mm thick so you really have little to no room to shave it down, might be worth seeing if removing skirting boards + shaving the ikea pax might get you the 2cm you need :)! I'm in the same boat as all of you... before plasterboard and skirting we had enou...

i went back on the pax planner last night and worked out that our pax robes are 397cm across.. so maybe we can try and do the same as you're getting done - shave the plasterboard to get 2cm back🤔 oh dear! Lucky you alerted me to this so now i can try and fix it 😊 Please be careful, plasterboard is ...

I haven't been on home one much since the house finished but it's all looking so great!! This weather is not ideal for getting things done quickly :( It's great once you get to lockup and things start moving fast regardless of the weather :)

It's been great, still waiting on some people to come back and perform repairs on Bricks and paintwork. The backyard and front yard are still dirt so it's not very pretty to look at right now! Driveway and all the concreting works start in 2 weeks and then we can finally start using our garage which...

We are in!!! Plenty of people coming back on Monday to fix up remaining issues... Got a paint rep for QLD coming to look at this theatre room and decide what can be done. I will get some photos for you all once our kitchen is back in and we get all these boxes out of the way. :)

Not sure at this point, things are starting to get a little ugly as we get to the end and they are really pushing back on getting things done correctly..... I feel for people who are easily pushed over because I am really having to stand my ground to avoid getting a second grade product.

It's just reallly disappointing the battle I have ahead of me now :( I can see they want to push back on the brickwork issues and the paintwork is going to cause headaches. We have to take handover this Friday as we have so many things booked for delivery etc. we can't really reschedule :([/quote] ...

Paintwork seems to be the thing that everyone has a problem with (all builders). To me, it sounds like the builders don't pay the painters enough money or they don't give them enough time and they have to rush. It would be so much easier and cheaper if it was done right the first time. Especially w...
