At Mid March 2017 we signed a quotation with Mimosa to build a single storey house in Truganina. During the sales consultation period, we are quite satisfied with the sales consultant's knowledge and help then decided to proceed with them. But now, we are wondering whether we make the right decisio...

Hi All, I'm planning to build a 25-square double storey house. Can anybody suggest a base quote per square meter or per square ? Thanks You'd be looking easily at 300k as a minimum especially with a private builder then upgrades allow extra 20k. P class site costs can be costly to as you'll most li...

Hi everyone Wondering if anyone can tell me if the deposit paid to Clarendon is refundable? We have been asked to pay $2000 this weekend to Clarendon, which they say is for soil testing, building agreement, drawings and certifiers checks. We don't own the land yet, as its still being "develope...
The terms and conditions will be on the form you sign. Normally with those types of deposits you don't get your money b...

Thank you Parabatzis :) So far Carlisle sales person is really good in taking care of us (we know, maybe it's one of the sales tactic, but we want to give Carlisle benefit of the doubt - of course we also wants everything is written in contract) Doreen is close to Wollert - we made a trip to Doreen...
Haha yes very close. All the best with it all Carlisle are very quick I've seen their houses going up in our estate

Hi all, Long time reader but never have the chance to create an account here, until me and my partner purchased a land in Mystique Wollert. We are wondering if anyone here is also purchasing in the same estate as we do? We've bought the land at stage 3, with the estimate land title around June 2018...
Hi heard the blocks have a lot of rock underneath in that area maybe something to consider?

We are now (finally) approved for our loan and have just (today) had formal appointments with Metricon ab...

Wow 60k for upgrades? I'd check out granvue homes they do knock downs and rebuilds. Yeah you might loose $1,500 but think of the savings when you compare all the standards with granvue which are considered upgrades with Metricon. We lost 2k with mimosa Acer switching to granvue but we got a bigger h...

Hi everyone, Just recently purchased a block of land and am now looking around at building companies. Just wondering if anyone has built with 8 homes? They're floor plans and prices are quite good and I'm thinking of going down to one of their display centres next week to look at a couple of homes....

Hi Parabatzis. That's no good that you had a negative experience with Burbank 8 years ago. My sister built with them about that time and things didn't go as smoothly as she would have liked either. 9 years ago we built with Met ri con and could not fault them - as far as we were concerned we would ...
