Sorry, to add to the above if you add fill to level you landscaping area you may then require retaining walls.

Leveling the ground for landscaping is not a real problem but with the leveling of the land for a house, i was told by my builder that the council wont allow any more than 1m of back fill. if i was to level my house i would have required around 1.4m of fill.

This is where having an all inclusive site cost price in a house and land packed is important.
