Just received an email from CRC with our Occupancy Permit, woohoo! Woohoo!!!

Met SS at 9am, left 3 hours later with brain strain, lol All went well. Nothing major to be done. Some touch ups here and there, bit of cleaning etc. Gas line still not in so we've given a letter saying we understand that and are happy to proceed. Fingers crossed it's in soon but it's still to just...

Fair question! And one we asked again and again. We just demolished our house for a KDR and wondered the same thing. From what I was told (by the builder and the council), you can get a planning permit from the council to build your desired house but the actual building permit itself wont be issued ...
