The stitching sticks out as bad to me. I'd be asking them back to investigate the stitching and then mention the creases to et their pro opinion on when they should fall out. Otherwise Maybe You could steam them lightly

I had a roller blind over a sliding door at my old house (we changed it from a window to door after the blinds were done). I'd never make that mistake again. Especially with dogs. Huge nightmare and annoyance. At our new house we are going with white sheers. They just clip off to wash.

I'd be a little concerned about water. If that's not something that's an issue because of the size or shape of the room then it could be a nice feature. But make sure the wall colour compliments.
