If you are on a standard contract it will have agreed procedure for PCI inspection and recording of defects. Follow the contract and make sure builder blinks first.Buy your own stickers and do your own list and then email it to the builder. Thankyou we are packed for moving so no idea where the con...

Awesome glad they are onto it for you we had to chase everyone then were told it was all sent to the broker they fired.... We get keys next Friday!!

Woo hoo it's all happening!! Make sure your bank books in the valuer ahead of time and they get the completion certificates asap as they will delay the final payment being made, we are just scraping by as we were never told of this and are just getting it all in on time (within the two week timefram...

PCI done! Went okay no major issues we can tell anyway some scuffs on bench, some paint patches to be fixed, tear in fly screen, and chip in vinyl wardrobe door. There was one issue we aren't sure if they will change as SS was adamant they wouldn't - on some of the skirting around the bathroom door ...

Oh how frustrating yes ours was super quick it was out before I even knew it was in, the builder submitted all our paperwork so can't say what went and didn't go in though. Fingers crossed it's out any day now!

Aww that's terrible hope they pull their fingers out the next couple days and tidy it all up for you! Not sure about the termite barrier and cladding but ours sticks out under the bricks but is not bright green it's a black colour and kind of blends in our ss said we need to leave it and incorporate...

What we did before signing or paying for quote, we got everything on the quote and kept changing it till it was perfect. Then signed it and played the 3k deposit. Yeah 17th march is handover so a little less than a month now :) Packing has begun but I've been feeling pretty crappy so my partners been doing the majority so unpacking might be a little different as I won't know where anything was packed but at least it's getting done! Add in council approval times and just general contracts finalisation it all adds up. Can't recall our final finance date but we started the house process in May by paying deposit to builder and construction began October. Council approval was super quick though 1-2weeks max. We used the FHOG before build commenced, we are with westpac too in Qld. Broker applied and it added to our deposit for loans, paid straight to bank. I believe you just need a build contract in place.
