Yeah I know mate - I still love following builds here even though my build finished 3 years ago. You’re right - I don’t see any Fowler Home builds and glad you are starting your own. All the best and you’ll get a great build.

Jemena are a joke, it took us 7 weeks before we got ours done. Call Jemena directly and give them your address, they’ll usually let you know if they have the order or still waiting on Origin/AGL etc to get paper work in order. Good luck guys.

We have been waiting 12 weeks for gas the gas line to be connected to our new house. Our builder has no idea when it will be connected. We have now had to extend our lease. It is very frustrating. Our house is basically finished. We did a knock down/rebuild so we had gas previously. Has anyone else...
Did you get a gas abolishment done before knocking your building down?

Get ready for some shouting matches over the phone. AGL/Jemena won't escalate your situation before 21 working days. This is what I meant about builders that don't tell you about this. You need over a month's notice (working days) to arrange abolishment- our knockdown was delayed by 3 weeks because ...

Hi All. I built with Fowler and it took around 12 months. Contract March 2016 moved in mid Feb 17. I built a Paris 6 bedroom double story with a 2 bedroom granny flat. I was competing against all their new display homes. So we've had some months that only had 5 days worth of work done. Not to mentio...

I wish that mistake with the screen happened to us. Very lucky.... https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170609/aaf3e336...

Hey KP16, Just catching up on all your posts. Wow they really have had things going at your end and it's looking so nice. Love it. How unfortunate that leak you found, but thank God we had rain now and it was exposed now instead of later. Rain can be a blessing in disguise in these situations......a...

You'll eventually get there Corallake, yep anything that happens at the home is just another step closer to that glorious day lol. With the AC ducts.....make sure they used all the boxed in areas to bring them to the downstairs area. We had a couple of places where they took valuable wardrobe space ...

Jemena are the worst company I have dealt with in my life. They charge $1300 for 40mins of work to abolish a gas line and meter. Watch out, after building our dream home with Fowler, Jemena took 7 weeks to connect my gas meter. Even after complaining to the Energy Ombudsman they just don't care abou...

Hows the house coming along Rayges? Sorry I've been missing in action for a while.
