Hi Michelle, we’ve just bought a house 1.5 hrs south of nowra and plan on doing floating floors. I’m at a loos on what way they would be laid. Is there a set way floating floors should be laid?

If youre too worried about wood getting damaged over time you could always do a timber look tile

Whisper white looks really nice....So does Natural white - They are both very similar....I will be going to a Dulux shop tomorrow to find out the difference with these 2....and some other colours I like.... Its like a dull green, light olive, i havent taken a pic. But they think it is the tint that they were given. Its like super strength ! It is our friend who did it so my partner is wanting to wait to paint it in a couple of months to like a half strength surfmist

I have an update on this lovely thread. The most valuable thing i have learned is dont expect the colour you choose to come out as planned. Surfmist render something went wrong and i now have a green house

Ours has been if the builders say you will be moved in the house by a certain date, add 2 months onto that.. each time they say it!

I like whisper white also!! And love the gloss were getting that aswell, i dont have that in my current house so im pretty excited!
