Hi all :) I've got this old house and that has recently been underpinned, unfortunately because of that a crack on the front facade of the building opened up (probably previously patched) What is the best and easiest way to fill out an the crack and kinda patch the paint so it's not that obvious? So...

The house looks good now and you can see where the Teretek has done its job, however I am worried that further seepage underneath the resin injection sites (I'm not sure how deep they go down) will result in further shifting and won't be covered by the 50 year guarantee as it won't be a failure cau...

The large tree at the front could well be the issue as we are in a drought in the east and north.Trees are causing a lot of problems at the moment due to dry soil conditions. If this is the case then getting resin injection done may provide a temporary fix but may not solve the long term issue. If th...

There is fairly large Eucalyptus tree cross the road, I would say around 10-12 meter away from the issue. not sure if it's related? Looking at few houses on the street, it looks like some of the them have the same problem The wall in question is the center/middle wall of the house, right along the m...

Hi all, Just bumping up this thread, My House (double brick, Victorian) started to crack and become unlevel this summer, I've contacted Urathane and Mainmark to see if they can fix the problem. Waiting for Urathane to come back with a quote and Mainmark to come for inspection (both seem very busy) J...

It's not gas, there is nothing in it except the iron grill and the damper at the top can be pushed in to be open. I've done some research and as mentioned by @Joker it seems like it is a coal burning fireplace and apparently it's not possible to burn wood in it, because of shallow depth and chimney ...

I don't think a deck is unachievable. It just means that a non-typical low-profile structure is needed to support the deck. Just get some quotes. If you are in Sydney I can give you contact details for the fellow that did my landscaping. He'd certainly be capable of doing this. I also recommend tha...

One of the first things I would do would be to paint the fence. It's amazing how a painted fence makes the space look so much more complete. Would look great with some potted shrubs/plants. It's funny how when spicing up inside, a fresh coat of paint is the first thing people do, but when it comes ...

Thanks for the reply. I like to deck out the whole backyard first. Do you think it's possible? I heard that there a minimum height required for the deck but mine is just a brick difference

Thanks guy for the reply. I'm planning to do a decking or paving in the backyard. do they just need a normal access to the top? or is there any other limitation of what I can do around them?
