We did flooring and blinds through MJH as their prices were reasonable in our opinion. We did driveway, landscaping and electrical/aircon ourselves.

I don't really follow what you are saying. The guidelines are really straight forward. We followed the guidelines exactly and hence the plan was approved. Every single person we know in Oran Park who has followed the guidelines has had their plan approved. They can't knock the plan back unless ther...

In our experience we had almost nothing do with our CLO once construction actually started, 90% of the communication was with the SS. I can think of maybe 2 instances where we needed to contact our CLO during the actual build process.

Yes we had our blinds done by them, we found their price reasonable (actually less than we had anticipated) so we figured it was easiest to just go with them. When I get home I can have a look and let you know the blind company details if you like. We don't have venetians though, we have roller blin...

You can always ask but I think it will be unlikely that they will allow their tiler to install a product you have supplied. You don't know the answer without asking though hey :o)

We're wanting marble tiles as a splash back and it's just not an option with Mcdonald jones? We have been in our home for 3 months and I really dislike our glass splashback. I wanted tiles o...

We compromised and just went to 2.55m with our ceilings. I think the 2.7m look great, but we wanted to stick to a certain budget and the 2.55m was cheaper obviously and also meant we didn't have to increase the height of any doors. If money was no issue at all then 2.7m looks great. We are totally h...

Hi All, Hoping everyone is well, and hoping for some help as i am due to get handover in 2 weeks. my query is, if i my sleeper retaining wall myself, will this likely cause any issue to a fencing contractor? We had all fences and retaining walls done first, then drainage done where required, then clean fill, level and lay turf.

Because of double demerit points this long weekend we had a visitor at Oran Park Drive. I suggest drive carefully coming down Oran Park Drive entering Oran Park. This policeman was at this location from early morning till about mid day today. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160612/f96ee73a111985a...
I would suggest people simply do the speed limit ALL THE TIME, then there is no issue - amazing Everyone would suggest ...

Mjh did my bamboo - approx 110sqm for $11k. No messing around with skirting boards after handover [emoji106] Yep we did our bamboo and carpets through MJH too, found their prices were not much more than we would have paid elsewhere but saved the hassle of doing it after handover.

Your solicitor/conveyancer should get the certificate on your behalf and the cost is included in the fees you pay them.

Yeah, i have seen people talking about the train travel. The surprising part is that, the train does not go straight to city, we got to change. I mean why does not the train runs straight to city.
