Exactly. If PD had contacted me I'd have been a bit grumpy but our build got held up four weeks right before PCI because they ran out of benchtops & we had to change supplier & choose a new option (it was a long story forever recorded in the annals of this thread! haha). If they'd gone throu...

I hope he was the tiler on your job in 2016 and he keeps his records of jobs in a filing cabinet at home! If so he is trying to go above and beyond to get a client the tiles they wanted... The other option is a big no no and looks like someone at Porter Davis needs to update their training on Data ...
I wish. I just heard back from a supervisor from the new homes team... they had a list of who had that particular tile ...

You guys are going to love this. We built with Porter Davis in 2016, other than the three month check have barely had any contact with them since handover. Today, out of the blue, a PD tiler rings to say he is trying to finish someone’s job but is one tile short and can’t get a matching replacement ...

Its been almost two weeks since our meeting with the CM and its fair to say the only thing completed within that time has been my WIR. Actually make that the last 5-6 weeks as nothing happened prior to that!!! We really thought after such drama and a site supervisor being let go, not to mention all...

[quote="nikil"]How much do they charge for variations? I know you pay for whatever it is you change but what is the admin fee? Basically after the tender you sign a document saying you won't be making any more structural changes and if you will then they'll charge you for drawing new plan...

Stage 2 under the Tender section it mentions the 3% Ok on my doc it only has Sales Acceptance, Selections and Document Preparation. There is nothing about Tender on there. Maybe PD have recently updated their processes, or maybe we have an old document? We only put the $2k down on our quote in mid ...

Hi! We've been looking to build in Melb South east and were considering Clyde/Clyde North and Officer. Still undecided what area is better - they both are the same distance from the CBD. ::hyst:: At some point we decided to build in Eliston but after visiting more places in Officer started looking ...

Love your interior style/design! Can I ask what flooring you've got there? Thank you! It's Bolero laminate Rustic Nougat. Super hardy (I figure, because they had it in the display home!)... everyone thinks it's hardwood & surprised when we say it's laminate :)

Are you guys on the NBN network ? Have u found any companies that service the area? I only just saw this! Hi Perry I walked past yesterday and thought it looked like you were almost finished so both happy/sad to see your most recent update... fingers crossed it's not too much longer! I know how frustrating it is though, we had a benchtop issue that delayed our move in by 4 weeks (including missing my 30...

We have our three month coming up and fortunately haven't got too many issues to address, the flapping in the ceiling, especially above our bedroom, is the main concern. I agree though that the pain quality is poor. We have streaks all across ours where my husband has put an electronic level. Our pr...

Congrats on a site start. We actually walked past your site tonight (we do a nightly walk around the estate). I went to NZ for five days and can't believe all the building in that release while I've been away! Your place will be up in no time.

We're looking to get an alarm system but we're fully insured and don't want to turn our place into Fort Knox by adding security grilles or anything like that - personal preference. We're 10 weeks into building our London 24 (technically half way mark) and it was great to see our cabinetry installed. Starting to feel real now [emoji41] http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160826/51f14f25e8d7e7a9af60eef4d46156da.jpg http://ourlondon24.wordpress.com Awesome!
