Hi, would you have any suggestions of a brick sealer to buy that you have used? Most products I've bought from Bunnings seem to be 'diy' strength and fail not long after I buy it. Is there a professional product you use? Thank you

Hi, Background: 1970s brick veneer home. Single pane glass, original. House faces ocean on top of hill. High wind area. We have recently had lots of storms and the large 3m wide front window is flexing inward up to 3cm. I feel like it is going to break. I looked closely outside and there is a huge g...

Thanks for all your comments and help guys. I'm not sure that I will be able to completely stop it, but I will try to slow down the effects. First on the list is to fix up and re-locate the retic sprinklers and then i'll try a sealer. If it doesnt help then I'll just go to step 2 - remove the brick ...

Thanks for all the responses! I can say that this is only affecting one wall. There are two sprinklers nearby that would "mist" onto the bricks so I will try and re-direct it. When I scrape off the white salty looking crystals, it does seem to have dissolved the brick by a few mm so I woul...

Help! My brick wall is dissolving and turning into dust, both inside and outside the wall. It is a single brick wall that is part of a garage. It faces the sun from about 10-2pm. I live on the top of a hill, about 1km from the coast in Geraldton, wa. What can I treat this with? http://s4.postimg.org...
