Hi all, is anyone building here with Elderton or has any experience in dealing with them. They have pretty poor reviews online. Appreciate any help. Thx We are near completion of our build. I have been pretty happy with Elderton. Great on price and build is on schedule.

That's a 150-200mm Slab with control joints in a shopping Mall? You aren't going to get that with a budget House builders slab What is your soil classification, Concrete specifications, reinforcement details, etc ,etc I am more referring to the glossy finish to the concrete, not the fact they're jo...

Hi, I have read a few threads on Homeone about polished concrete. I have read mostly that you're looking at minimum $100/m2 for a good job. One of the quotes I have got is significantly cheaper than the rest, which of course has be wondering if it's too good to be true. My criteria was the following...

Hi, Good day. I am new to the forum. We are looking at a lot in Geranium St. 375m2. The broker is quoting us $749K for 4 bedroom bathroom & 2 garage. Do you think this is reasonable? Thank you. Hi, You pay a premium for not having to wait for registration etc. In Nov 2014 we secure 300m2 for $2...

Hi, For those who haven't purchased, might be worth trying for this to increase your chances at getting land https://www.stockland.com.au/residential/nsw/altrove-living-at-altrove.aspx Also, Horizons is another option, as posted earlier in this thread.

We picked up lot 928 and so far couldn't be happier with Elderton. :D Congrats. We're also building the Watermark with Elderton. A great plan. Very similar to the Leaton 28 at Clarendon, but Clarendon charged an extra 40k or so for virtually the same plan (no thanks clarendon!) So far our experienc...

Hi, My land will soon register, and soon after we will start construction. Is there any disadvantage to having the finance for land and construction as individual loans with separate banks? The reason I ask is because I can get the loan for the land no problems, but for the construction, I may need ...

Hi, We're currently in the process of building (yet to start construction, still awaiting land registration). My wife and I like the idea of dual shower heads, for a bit of luxury in the en suite. Our shower dimensions are 1500 x 900 mm. There would be separate taps on each side of the shower as not...

I've been a little worried about how strict Stockland would be regarding approving facades and bricks etc. I went for a drive around Willowdale the other weekend (design guidelines are very similiar to Elara) and was surprised to see leniency in the guidelines. I was worried that my bricks might not...

Wow...The Gables. First release and they're going for $1200 a sq/m. I'd be interested to see how they sell (they'll probably sell out in a day like every other land release though).

but if you need to choose from PGH Bricks we're building with Elderton, and our choices are from Austral Bricks. There are some balcony bricks that seem to have a slightly different colour in this picture (not sure if that's just the lighting) - they won't allow this, it needs to be uniform. Are yo...

I was taking a look at the Elara design guidelines, and noticed they don't specifically address which brick colours you can choose/they'll allow, only that the design will need to be endorsed/approved by Stocklands. I was having a drive around The Ponds on Sunday to get some colour ideas. My wife an...

Did anyone got an email from Elara regarding update status? Yes. It's funny. I had been wanting to email them for a while for an update, but was trying to be patient and wait for the next update. I finally gave in and emailed yesterday, and got a reply, then about 2 hours later I got the official S...
