Update: Landscaping now more or less completed, which we did ourselves. Only annoying part was that the site was not properly cleaned. Hi Allcastle will make adjustments to configuration, we only made minor changes and they did not cost too much. $382k, that was based on a $314k easy build price. The final cost ended up being $379k as some allowances were over...

Few updates since we moved in... Week 44 - Collected the keys on Friday and finally started the move into the house :D :D :D Main move will happen middle of the week... In the end everything came together, and Allcastle did pull out all stops to finish and do the handover late on Friday...

I did find it very frustrating watching other houses start after us, pass us and finished well before us...I think AllCastle are becoming one of the slowest builders around...The quality is good, which would be expecting given the time they take... Hopefully something will happen soon, we got 2 days...

Walk through update - Walk through was performed today, only 1 issue was identified, which was a crack to a window. Other than that the only other issues they was already aware of, and are due for fixing today. The Hardwood floor is scheduled for Tomorrow and the Carpets for Tuesday next week. Power...

Was there much water from the rain on the weekend on-site? We got quite a bit, but they still did the Termite Control yesterday...I am sure they would have had to drain some away to do the work...

Will have to check that tonight, can't remember seeing it, but it could be hidden somewhere... I felt though the Progress in the early stages was OK, but I wasn't really monitoring them too much against other builds, most houses near us are Single so would be expected to complete quicker That change...
