We painted this for my daughter. I believe it was 1/2 strength silkwort. Some reason it looks darker on the stripe wall. But look to the right and it's a better idea of colour. http://forum.homeone.com.au/u/71528_1472696949.jpg Beautiful room BTW

Lol. We have wa white for doors and frames which is bright bright pure white so don't need to consider them as they should bounce off any creams in a pure kinda way, if that makes sense. They won't interfere with the wall colour I don't think. Southwards has a beige undertone. Limed white sounds ni...

Im looking at Gatsby Blue or Brenten Blue. I like Sapphire Salute in some photos but others it looks too bright blue, like kiddie blue! I also want to use a colour like Taubmans cape blue as a feature, or some other regal looking blue, lol but not too purple or too bright, so need to consider if the above colours go with that... erghh choosing colours is giving me bad memories of building my house and choosing everything for prestar...

How about solver southwards or solver kitty grey? Lots of show homes use these colours. We are getting kitty grey I think.... Kitty grey was actually the colour i was planning to use when we built (1 year ago), and the builders painted our doors that in 1/2 strength. But now i don't like it. Kinds ...

The house is all locked up now, cupboards are in, tiling started Tuesday... front door painted... Already I don't like some of the laminate and the front door colour! Its so annoying you cant change the paint colour on site, the painters only have to ask for a different colour when they go in to sol...

That's what I mean, $20k or so to get it done custom... But I suppose, as mentioned, if I had of spent more time researching what I wanted, what less expensive copies of expensive show home fittings and materials I could get etc, then I could have done it somewhat better, I would say for me my probl...

I also feel like we (well I atleast) make unrealistic ideals about what our first house will look like. (if you are restricted by budget that is) You want it to look like a show home, but just cant do it without spending tens of thousands over and above, and hiring a designer. Hi, our place is 208m2. We had all areas except the bedrooms, nearly 90m2 tiled and it took them 3 or 4 days. Thanks StephyD! Wow that's faster than I thought! Can I ask, do you know how many people were tiling? 2?
