Based on air flow speeds: Schweigen 90cm Undermount Rangehood at Harvey Norman's for $699 or so from memory in 2014/2015. (It has 1030m3/hr of airflow and is a non-silent model)

Happy new year everyone! We need to get a 20 meter x 60cm retaining wall for a garden. Considering a stone retaining wall (sandstone or bluestone). I am on clay ground in Canberra. Can anyone tell me what footings I will require? I want to do it right and do it once... Thanks in advance.

Thank you boosta. Sorry I did not provide the model number of the rangehood that I was after more information. As you have found out is HU-9UM. Are both UM-900MS or UM1170-9SP available in the single motor 1600m3 version? Is there a big price difference?

Why is this rangehood so cheap? Schweigen 90cm Undermount Rangehood at Harvey Norman's for $699 It has 1030m3/hr of airflow and is a non-silent model, but for that price I can't find any thing else that moves that much air Any ideas?

I have found out that if I am tiling or carpeting, the skirting boards can be completely attached before handover and it will be fine. Only for timber floors does the skirting need to be tacked on.

Go standard plumbing and kitchen fittings - might not be the height of fashion but that means won't go out of fashion as quick. Hello, would it be better to upgrade the shower mixers and bath mixers that are behind tiles to a premium brand, say Grohe that has a 15 year warranty? I am afraid the sta...

Thank you 2-cupcakes-pls. Now I know I do not need to worry about the prep work! I can't say I have seen a house without skirting boards. Building in Perth is so different, I heard they use bricks inside too, is that right? Here in Canberra we only have bricks outside, inside is trusses and gyprock ...

Hello all. Just a quick question about flooring and painting after handover. I am planning on getting tiling in the living areas and carpet in the bedrooms which seems pretty standard here in Canberra from the display homes I have visited but I will do them after handover. I have done a few searches...
