Well after almost 9 months of building!! Yes that is right, almost 9 months. We have our PCI on Friday. The only problem is that there appears to be a hell of a lot of things not done, you know bricks haven't been cleaned, painting not done, carpet not done, paint splattered all over the tile floor...
We had them try and do the same thing with us. We knew the house wasn't ready for pci. I attended. Told the supervisor ...

Expect another 4-5 week delay after your out of admin. This extra 4-5 weeks is for production estimating. But usually they'll start site works during this period, but as per your contract, the build period doesn't officially commence until after this period.

So in this case, are you paying extra costs bec of delay beyond the tender time frame, reading whatever so far sort of tells me ours will def go beyond Sep 30, for no delay at our end, so what can we expect and what should we be doing - let's say all things going within normal expectations As you h...

And that was done by the builder? Anything I could do to help speed up. What about Sec 88 and Sec 149 certs etc, I know builders get them and the cost is covered but any adv in my getting them from the council while we wait , it's 150$ or around but if it saves time it might be worth it. My advice ...
My advice would be to pay for them and to read them thoroughly. We skimmed over them and wisdom ended up whacking items...

Thx, Would CDC / Council make any difference? CDC can speed up the approval process. We went CDC in the penrith area also. We had approval within 2 weeks. CDC was SBAC. You'll more than likely need to submit an application for vehicle crossover and council infrastructure damage bond. Edit: (We need...

Wisdom's 6 month tender expiry is completely unrealistic and unachievable due to their own internal processes. They'll tell you that the 6 months is achievable blah blah blah. (Have you heard anyone mention they started construction within the 6months?) Anything to string you along then hit you wit...

^this. We had them fit one of the other caroma quatro ones(link: http://www.caroma.com.au/bathrooms/mixer-taps/quatro/quatro-basin-mixer) to our main bathroom. They changed it over when we asked for them all to match.

The longest part of the build is the internal fit out and quality assurance.

Hi guys, just a word of warning, if you have young kids I wouldn't get laminate. I got laminate in my current place a couple of years ago and the issue with it is that you have to mop all spills and accidents right away otherwise the water gets into it and swells it up where each plank joins to the...

We also went very similar colours. Ended up with surfmist Windows. (Be warned the $650 upgrade cost doesn't include the upgrade cost for screens/doors. But we weren't charged to upgrade colour on them anyway). We went with pgh truffle brick, shale grey garage and basalt roof/downpipes/rainwater tank
