Wow, incredible! The paving in particular is gorgeous. It's all gorgeous. Well done. Are the gates automatic? Do they open inwards? Please post some photos during summer when the trees have their leaves back :x]

I don't know about what saw should be used, but I'm sure its fair to want the lines to be neat and straight. I also wouldn't expect to pay for the tap when someone else damaged it.

It's looking great. I can't believe that fencer! Oh my goodness! Ha, hilarious you got his photo of him doing it and the text message admitting to it all. What a nutter though to come out and chop it up. Holy moly, screws loose or what. I'd have been scared to be near him with that thing in his hand...

Lilly Pilly trees are growing very well. https://forum.homeone.com.au/u/65422_1547249217.jpg They look so good! Do you get any pest or browning from the heat problems? We have photinia on one side (great with the lack of water, no pests, but i didnt like the red so much). So planted viburnum shiny ...

Great job with the green house! I want to put shade cloth over our veggie patch. The hot 40 degree days are soooo hot

:x] very nice plant choices!! What are those lime green star looking plants (that you've photographed with the red ones). Your yard will look incredible. Lots of water and give them a seasol once in to help with the crazy weather/root shock :) (I think. Shaz should confirm)

I have found this. Clearly says up the top you can't. But then why does it then describe doors and windows in pool barriers? Only for those who have older pools? Seems logical that you'd be allowed to so long as the window had crimsafe on it. I mean no one is getting through that! Thoughts? https://...

Does anyone know if its still an option to have an operable window with crimsafe forming part of the pool barricade? My brother in law's block is quite small, so the only way to fit a pool in is if it's 1m from the house. Thanks

Small shrubs around manhole and one large lightweight pot plant on top of manhole. Yeah great idea! I still vote cover it in wood chip or pebble mulch :)

Very nice sounding holiday! Darn with the pipes! Maybe a magnolia like you planned in the furthest, then smaller shrubs with wide overhangs in the other two. One with wide enough spread that one on each side will cover the man hole? Not really sure... I guess you could plant something in either corn...
