The grey area is polished cement plaster. It’s basically like normal white set but with cement. The plasters work it till it becomes very smooth.

Hey Leni, I also haven’t been on for ages. I’ve been meaning to put up some updates. It’s all done apart from some small sections of landscaping and the pantry. Oh and the laundry chute. I’ll be working on the pantry starting this week. I have been a bit lazy with the house for the last year mainly ...

Haven't put much up lately as I haven't actually done much. Small amount of planting but mainly spending the weekends with the kids. The wife and I did spent this morning working on our succulents. We mixed it up with some natives too. We ended up running out of succulents so we will need to finish ...

Today was all about polishing. Starting with a hone and then worked through 50 and 100 pads. I will get it to 400 or 800 tomorrow. I will soften the concrete with lots of greens. I really enjoy cooking on an real open flame so I haven't installed gas. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170814/12b054...

Hey nice job. one of the best jobs on here. I have a question with the slats covering your higher Windows. Is it fixed or adjustable? Thanks! The Louvres/slats are electronic. They can be programed with time, sun etc.

Very very nice! Are you an architect? Did you design the project yourself? I'm keen to know where you've hidden your fridge, microwave, oven, etc! No architects here...... our initial building designs were done by a retired architect. (Roger Hearne) We drew what we had in mind and then he made it b...

Great work on the turf especially in the rain - I think when I laid mine it was so windy and sleeting at one point [emoji23] and the day after I finished it was a beautiful still sunny day [emoji23] Laying turf is one of the few jobs that gives instant satisfaction. Grass complete 180m2 was a decent effort with the aid of a couple of Laborers. I haven't tested my reticulation yet but as it's raining for the next couple of days I've got a bit of time. I'm really happy with the outcome and can finally see the checkered flag. Front verge. https://uploads.tapatalk...
Looks amazing!!! What type of turf is that? Thank you. Sir Walter
