I don't think these are energy efficient downlights, They are equally bright from start till finish. I mean of the downlights switch on after <1sec delay is, there is a delay of about 1 second between switching on and the light coming out. This <1sec delay is not consistent among all downlights, som...

Ladies and Gentlemen, So far since we moved in about 3 months ago, no big complaint except the quality of downlights. We have around 46 downlights (obviously we don't use all of them everyday) in total. Out of 42 downlights we use approxi 20 downlights on/off basis everyday and out of 20 downlights,...

Thanks Hardy. They were telling me porky pies then. Did you ask the question before you started to build or only when you spoke to the supervisor? I think I'll be in the same boat as you, having to wait for the LCD / Plasma, but definately want the wiring done now. Cheers, Mike. Hi Mike, I didn't a...

Dear All, Just thought of doing decking using Composite Decking material (e.g. http://www.modwood.com.au/). Is anyone used it before and what are your thoughts or feedback. Mike, I don't think you can extend Bordeaux's garage depth towards laundry because Bordeaux's laundry is just next to the garage back wall so it will be difficult for them to move the laundry or shift the laundry sliding door but extending width will not be a problem. In Grande, it is quite possible...

Great stuff, if we go with this house we are looking at extending the garage so it almost 7x7m and moving the meals area to the family room thus doubleing the alfresco area and converting it into an enclosed outdoor/indoor entertainment area with concertina doors opening it up. Which way did you ex...
