I don't think these are energy efficient downlights, They are equally bright from start till finish. I mean of the downlights switch on after <1sec delay is, there is a delay of about 1 second between switching on and the light coming out. Mike, I don't think you can extend Bordeaux's garage depth towards laundry because Bordeaux's laundry is just next to the garage back wall so it will be difficult for them to move the laundry or shift the laundry sliding door but extending width will not be a problem.
