Yes. But im sure it'll be alot more next month thats for sure! Would anyone know how long from lock up to handover? 18 weeks from lock up to handover for us. The first half goes really quick and then the second half drags.

Our build ended up being 25 weeks from site start, it felt like forever. We got an independent inspector and although they picked up quite a few thin...

impish73 Now I cant wait for our floors to be done! Can I ask what internal theme you went with or if you got to choose your own colors? Thanks Juannamo, We got in to the colour selections before they made you choose themes. The first pic is a bit weird as it has made the walls appear a taupe colou...

why haven't you had a great build? There have been several problems with our building. Tomorrow we will be in our 24th week on site. We have had 3 site supervisors. During the frame stage they didn't put enough studs to hold the tiles in the bathroom, so the plaster had to come off again. We change...

For those who've finished their build and have the spotted gum laminate boards can you please post pics. I'm a bit worried there might be too much variation with each board (ie the whitish streaks) for my liking We haven;t had a great build so far but I do love our spotted gum floor. http://i896.ph...

A quick update. We are now into our 22nd week on site. Our third site supervisor. There has been problem after problem and I can't see the end in sight. I think I need to take up drinking. I swear on this night - I will never build again.

I don't have my paperwork on my but from memory that sounds about right, although I'm not in a flood zone. Have you been charged for Bushfire zoning? I got told by the SC I'm definitely NOT in a bushfire zone, yet my developer contract says that I am! So confused by that. You can type in your addre...

Impish!!!! Oh my gosh. I am so sorry to hear about the stand still. Have they said why?? The shutdown period is only from now. That is disheartening. I'm so sorry to hear it. Thanks for everyone's concern. We have been told that people just made some mistakes and then it was too hard to get the tra...

So things are not going so well for us. Our house has been at a stand still for a month (completed fixing stage) and the trades are not going to come back for another six weeks, so that will be over 10 weeks with nothing happening. I can't tell you how furious my husband and I are. Part of the kitch...

All spa's require a safety fence. It is the safety fence that requires a building permit. I work in the industry and you would be surprised how many people are dobbed in by family / friends / neighbours. If you are caught without a building permit the fine can be many tens of thousands of dollars no...

So I basically put my heels in and didn't budge about the extra price guarantee fee. I told the sales guy that he mislead us to get us to sign and we were quite willing to forgo the deposit we paid and go with another builder. It didn't take long until he remembered what he had said to us and said n...

So upset... We are being handed over to construction tomorrow after a long wait of 12 months. We received an email tonight asking for an extra $891 as the price guarantee that we paid ran out 2 months ago. I asked several times before signing 'what if we are a couple of months late' and was assured ...
