Thanks both. We have had the sand classed as C1 and as work has began, its not deemed as a provisional sum any longer. It still feels mighty pricey though as I'm sure that the builder only has top-sand to do play with anyway. Whereabouts on the Brook are you Kitty?

Thank you. We have been advised above 20k, but I'm wary that it might be used as a safety net by builders. Do you think we can ask for full receipts for the work, as most is sub contracted, I believe? Anyone else out there have any ideas on prices?
