Anyone bought an Arthur G sofa? I'm in qld and they have no one who stocks their product up here. I'd never heard of the brand as a result until I stumbled upon their site trying to source a velvet sofa. If I do buy from there I wouldn't actually get to see it until it arrives on my doorstep. Anyone...

Ours are actually semi gloss. I've had these before, matt and high gloss and never ever had this issue. Why would matt tiles be dirtier than any other? I've only ever heard of gloss tiles being harder to keep clean?

Hi everyone, we recently had new tiles installed. They are a beautiful lappato porcelain in a cream colour and I love them. Before that we had a mix of polished tiles and parquetry floors. I bought a few Sabco microfibre mop - swish extra - and ever since I can't seem to keep the floors clean. I've ...

Hi everyone! :) I realise this is quite an old thread but I was hoping to get some feedback on your grout sealing? Our tiles are being grouted as we speak in living, dining, kitchen and bathrooms and I really want to seal them. We can't afford to have it done professionally so I'll have to do it. Ou...

Yeah, we nearly got caught with the same thing. I think builders, etc are so used to doing it and seeing them they don't really think it matters. One flooring place said they would do it without the strips, but that it would void any warranty. We are about to rip up our finger parquetry floors and t...

Yep, correct what AJW said. And its the reason we are now tiling instead. Its such a shame as I love timber floors but the layout of our house meant they would be in very obvious areas.

Thanks everyone. We are now ripping up everything and putting down tiles. The vinyl floors over the top of the existing tiles would have made the ceilings under legal height - so a bit of a risk. The engineered timber we love, but there would be a slight height difference between the timber and tile...

I actually went onto Home improvement pages and logged a job. Had three tilers contact me within 24 hours and quite a competitive quote by the end. People review them and services and you can decide if you want additional quotes after that. I haven't used my tiler yet (almost there) and he is on the...

Yep, that's the one I went to today. Do you know where they source their tiles from? What was the red dust from?

If so, Where are their tiles from? How is the quality? Any issues? I found one I like there. Price is ok, certainly not the cheapest, but I've never heard of them until I drove past. Tell me your experiences!! I'm after a nice matte or lappato tile in cream...

Just wonderng for those who bought from wizard, how the quality stacks up? Are the tiles from China, Italy or Spain?? I have found a nice cream matte tile but nervous as hell about buying as I've heard some horror stories about beaumonts cheap Chinese imports. Thoughts???

Ok, so we are ripping up our old floors and laying new porcelain tiles down. I found lots that I like but there are a few issues: - the house is quite bright in parts and dark in others so tiles can look really bright or quite dull - the island bench is waterfall style caesarstone in nimbus and is l...

Hi everyone We have a pretty nasty flooring situation where the previous owners laid alternating sections of parquetry and ceramic tiles through living areas. It was an odd decision and looks a bit strange. The whole area is pretty dated, particularly the parquetry. We had planned to put down engine...

Hiya! We haven't done anything just yet - a few other urgent things came up. However we will be going with the glass option. The price from what I recall was around $2400. The traditional plasterboard option was going to be about $1800-$2k, depending on what price we'd get for tiles and a tiler. So ...

Oh yeah it's funny isn't it!?! Although every now and then I catch myself staring at it and noticing the depth of colour. Sometimes it can appear white, soft dove grey, grey/green or a muddy baby blue. I love when colours work just how you want them to! I just wish bm paints were available here to s...
