We have just moved into our home and notice that at night we can clearly see where the joins in the plaster on the ceiling are under the shadows cat by the light. We think it looks awful and *... Is this something common? And how can it be rectified.??

Pleased to say we finally moved in on the 12th April. The builder still hasn't finished many items, but we had no choice but to move out of our old place. We still don't have a handle on our front door, rail for hanging clothes in our master bed wir. Heaps of paint touch ups need doing. Front door i...

Hi All, After getting in the boxing ring with the State Mgr, Construction Mgr and our Supervisor; M3tricon have promised the house will be handed over this Friday. The State Mgr reckons he will be there in person to hand it over...I'd like to see that :) There are still an array of issues which we a...

i mean seriously the chance of getting the product replaced, delivered and then retiled after the old one has been removed all at the cost of the supplier is next to nil... I have emailed the MD of the company in a very polite but upset tone - i wonder what he'll have to say for himself :?

In isolation it looks fine...just doesn't go with our colours. The one we ordered had a lot of deep greys in it and was darker overall. http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/613/house030gc1.jpg

We could live with the colour, but it's just so upsetting as it looks nothing like the colour we ordered. And to think it's the most expensive feature just breaks your heart. This job was totally independent from the builder; I sourced the product myself interstate and then found a tiler who knows h...

:( We were away for the last 2 days while some Stack Stone which we had bought interstate was applied by a professional tiler. We came home today to see the finished job and were shocked when we saw the colour as it is different to what we purchased. I checked the boxes/receipts and took photos of o...

M3tricon have had only 3-4 days of work left on our house for the last 4 weeks and they have done absolutely nothing. Have written a letter to the state manager today outlining the ridiculous excuses we have been fed by the construction manager. Yesterday the construction manager told me that the 'e...

what do you do if your builder does extras in your house because he "thinks" you ordered them and they aren't in your contract. If you keep quiet, is there anything they can do to claim extra money from you??

We are now 8 weeks over the contract date and they still haven't finished :x For the past 2-3 weeks they have only had maybe 3 days worth of work left to do but done nothing. You wonder how they operate. Driveway/path is being done tomorrow - but that's organised by us.

funny you should say that because there are a few M3tricon homes in our area and yet you would never recognise them as M3tricon houses, given the way M3tricon markets images of their homes.

Hi, We had the cutouts put in at design stage. i'll have to check the contract to see what they charged for them - to memory I think it was around $1200 but I could be wrong.

Hi - we are currently 8 weeks overdue and don't have a firm date as yet. The worst part is that there is only 3-4 days worth of work left to finish it off and it has been like that for the last 2-3 weeks.

Hey thanks again- great to be back in action. As far as the lights in the kitchen are concerned they are just ballasts at the moment as we are putting a multidirectional low voltage in the centre and a pendant slim rectangular chandelier over the sink. Downlights - yeah we have a few :) I think in t...

Thanks... :) - We have a double door fridge which should just fit. The space was supposed to be 1.00m wide but it is now 930mm. So we have lost a bit somewhere - oh well.
