Also cross reference that with reviews vs price. Here are my findings on different swimming pool heating systems. https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewt...

Hi, You Wrote "I have a large roof that that I can cover with solar panels. Am I missing something basic here?" Are you CRAZY? The old style kettles had a lock in mechanism to avoid electric shock/electrocution! AKA Death. And you want to swim in it? Maybe the mother-in-law I can understan...

Hi, Yes, The Swimming pool was only 1meter from the house foundation and I had to ensure that the house foundation had piering (2 lots of 2 meters wide by 1 meter below the bottom of the pool) What this meant was the pools shallow end was 1.1meters deep, Therefore, the house piering was to be a mini...

Thank you for your kind words. I sub-contracted the pool build and did the paving and glass pool fence myself. I don't think I am any cleverer than you. I just started at the beginning and asked each trade along the way if they could recommend someone for the following stages. These trades all work ...

I have one sheet of tongue and groove flooring (2-3mm drop due to last winter weather) that is uneven and was wondering if there was a acrylic (as any cement leveling product might crack) floor leveling compound on the market. Thanks Andrew

We have also chosen our pool tile. The tiles are from a company called "Tiles on Bradman" here is South Australia. They are renown for supply quality tiles to the pool industry. The tile colour we selected is called "Harbour Blue" http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c184/andrew2009...

We have chosen Travetine for the pool coping and pool paving area. It is 30mm thick in what is called a "French Lay" pattern. This means that the pavers come in 4 sizes. 200x200mm 200x400mm 400x400mm 400x600mm http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c184/andrew20092/IMG_3355_zpsxz4dqypx.jpg

Hello MrBee, I am very impressed with your Concrete pool build. I know that with my build with the home extension things got in the way and time slipped away. We missed a complete swimming season. Hope you get your pool done for this year as I found out last year in SA when I went looking for a pool...
