Hello. We are needing to get a small brick wall done and was wondering if anyone was from Perth and knew of someone reliable to do the job who would not rip us off? Seems bricklayers are scarce with the building boom. We're near Bullcreek (southern suburb) Any help welcome.

We spoke to the builder and they said it was normal to have a space under the slab if the ceiling was going under a mixture of roof timber and concrete. It is only a small space so we have decided it must be ok. Thank you for the help.

Yes we are in WA. The aircon is coming out of a bulkhead in the kitchen so its not for that, plus it would not be enough space for any ducting or plumbing. There is a section under the 2nd floor slab and another part which has roof. Almost seems like they did the bit under the roof too low so just k...

HI. We are building and have put in 32c ceiling height. Can anyone tell me how high this is in cm? We were at the house and we also noticed that they seem to have 'painted' the concrete on the ceiling on the ground floor for some bits, which we assume is the ceiling, and then in another section put ...

Hi What a great forum. Has anyone built or building with Seacrest homes in WA? We just got told they won't accept any variations once construction starts. Is that normal?
