I have found Tupperware in pot drawers more convenient than in a cupboard. It didn't improve the organisation but it contained everything when rummaging. However in our new place the pot drawers are no good for it, as they don't have solid sides or backs so plastics are back in the cupboard :? I don...

I met a future neighbour (4-5 houses down from us) yesterday; she was their to see the site scrape for their place, and the little guy and I had wandered down to check out the digging truck we had been hearing all morning. Turns out she is building the same house as us! That makes at least 7 in our...

This is one of the main reasons we chose aluminium bifolds. Not everyone's cup of tea style-wise, but low maintenance :D As long as the wooden bi-folds are under the roof line and are not exposed to direct sunlight and moisture they should last a long time. Oh yeah, for sure - we just didn't want t...

And a side note, if you have any doors that are stained, you need to restain them each year in order to keep the warranty. We were told this yesterday, that's a yearly project for my husband as he wanted the bifolds!!! ;) This is one of the main reasons we chose aluminium bifolds. Not everyone's cu...

Looks great! I was just having a look at your blog. What is going on with all these door stoppers being put on the door? Is that normal? I don't want mine on the door. Ours are like that wherever there is tiled skirting - so bathroom, WC, ensuite and laundry. All other doors the stoppers are on the...

They told us 2-3 weeks as well, but we called after a month and there had been a hold up because the renderer wasn't there (sick/on leave/too busy, I don't remember). Then we called a couple of weeks later and they were still working through the backlog. It was finished a couple of weeks later, whic...

We have the Maddison letterbox - you have great letterbox taste  ! I can't tell you if the price was reasonable, but I can tell you that I struggled to find anything similar in my searches. We didn't pay for installation though, our landscaper installed it when they did the garden for no extra...

But they were the last two in front of us on selection day! Cleaning is a bit of a pain TBH. I just remember that they're no dirtier than the wooden floors w...
