Thanks Windowfactory - It's inside, and occurs in almost all of them! It isn't low-e as far as I'm aware, and the units are meant to contain a dessicant although not sure if that would be obvious. it isn't all across the pane - just starts in one part of them and radiates out.

Check out aircell products. Don't forget you can have a combination of insulation. I'm planning to have (inside to outside) gyprock (or possibly some sort of internal plywood cladding , then a reflective layer reflecting inwards (that's to keep heat in during winter, then a gap, then bulk insulation...

Not sure what look you're after, but I have seen zincalume used in a few examples in magazines lately... can be corrugated or plain. That said, I'm not sure how it was fixed.
