I haven't heard of or seen duradeck. I've already bought a single piece of ekodeck and I think I will stick with it. I had a look at futurewood today. Yes not really fond of the pattern on it but I do like the hidden fastening system associated with it. It is a least 20 per length more expensive tha...

You'll just need to oil it more. Extending the deck out makes it look more spacious. Well worth doing.

If you deck you can extend out past the end of the alfresco. Space for a bbq and steps to the garden. I did this recently. It was a low deck where I used gal steel for bearers at points where the deck was less than 300mm from ground.

I'm looking at either ekodeck or futurewood myself. Modwood scratches too easily and timbertech I have seen after being laid for several years and it didn't look great. Ekodeck is cheap and solid. Futurewood is more expensive but has a better fitting system.

Hi All had a second question, this one is about the water tanks. Apparently we need a 3000 ltr unit. Mine has to be at the back of the house. I'm looking at putting a deck in as my property drops off 1m from side to side (im on a hillside), so I'd like to put the tank below the deck. Anyone done any...

Hi Guys for those who have already moved in or are near doing so, can you give me a heads up on the NBN installation process? Who do I have to contact to make sure they fit everything in the house? The people next door were too late in contacting the NBN and now they have to pay extra to get the cab...

Richard, I agree and some streets will not even get it... it should have been made very clear at the time of purchasing land... How can we find out what streets have it and what dont? I'm in Domus street.

Hi Guys Did the colours appointment this week. I got through it so fast I did the electrical and tiles/carpet in the same day! I was told I was the easiest customer ever! Anyway, I opted for rollerblinds sunscreen with shearweave fabric in off white. Cost for the whole house (Saville 27) was $4800. ...
