What a horrible experience! To be honest, I found HGWAs response to be a tad patronising. Hope things start to improve

Looks like c ommodore homes are still playing the same games ;) we built with them in 2011 and experienced really really poor service. House is fine and we've lived here for 3 years, so it hasn't fallen down yet ;) just their service and attitudes were terrible. Hope you come right soon

Sorry to hear fancy pants, I remember this exact feeling when building (not with DAH) but I had months of broken sleep, mood swings and anxiety. It was truly awful. Big hugs xx

Semi frameless is cheaper. Frameless looks looks nicer (IMO) but is more labour intensive hence the price. If you're core drilling your spigots into the ground, you need To have a concrete footing which adds $$. The panels shouldn't move if they're done correctly. They should all be I'm alignment wh...

I've got technika oven, stovetop and range hood. Yes they're basic builders range but they've served us well, range hood died about 1 year after we moved in, they sent a tech out to fix it. Oven has been fine as has stovetop. My only complaint is my oven is too small, but that's my fault for not upg...

A core drill, presuming it's for fencing? You can hire core drills & drill bits from Coates etc. you can get a 63mm bit.

I would probably got for the aluminium. Unless the steel has been hot dip galvanised prior to being powder coated. I think it all rusts eventually but aluminium will buy you more time. Have you thought about stainless steel uprights?

8mm gates are generally used in conjunction with spring hinges (not soft closing) I believe this is due to weight. 8mm gate with 12mm panels is a common practice, and if done properly doesn't look odd as the latch ensures its sits flush with the panels 10 & 12mm are generally used in conjunction...
