I planted a kp tree about 2 years ago, it has been staked up all that time. Today i thought i should cut it free and i have, but it is now on a lean? looks like it is going to snap? Should i stake it back up again? Im in wellard wa if it helps... thanks :D

yep phoned the council.... apparently they are going to look at it and ring me... if its dying i'll have to ring the land developer. *looks at tree, yep looks pretty dead to me*

pretty sure it was written into our land contract... our responsibilty to maintain it, will double check on that though!

hahaha lex anything is possible! but we all have them, no one elses seems to be dying though. i really dont understand it. if it dies, its my responsibility to replace the thing! i'd be happy to have no tree there. maybe just a ******* tree put in in the first place?

hey all, thought i would drag up this thread rather than create a new one. No problems with the tree growing huge.... the tree is dying! the leaves are all curled up and are starting to turn brown and fall off. any explanations for this? it gets watered 2 days a week, 3 x a day with a dripper system...

Hey all, Just thought I'd post my question in here, rather than start a new topic. I have ordered mollasses pellets, but are they the same as the liquid stuff? do i have to dissolve them in water or do you just chuck them on the garden as is? or are they no good at all? Thanks

sorry to hijack this thread, fu i always wondered about that. If you mix spray, either weedkiller, or seasol or the likes, does it have to be made exactly to the directions on the bottle, or can it be made stronger?

sorry, i thought it was the council, have just been corrected by my husband :roll: apparently it was put there by the developer, cedar woods. It is about 4 metres from the front of the house approximately 1.5m tall at this stage and looking very green and healthy! does that mean i can just leave it ...

holy crappa! I thought i could just cut the water back and be done with it! i dont know how much water dripper systems give out so maybe 45mins, 3 x a day is right? lol fu, i know HOW to change the settings, i just want to know if i cut the water back gradually, or just do it in one hit? The plants are getting so much water at the moment, if i cut it back straight away, i dont want them to die of thirst so to speak. I'm in perth if that helps! and they are on a...

hahahaha, i was just about to say bunnings... until i got to the end of your post. We recently bought solar powered lights to hang on the front of the garage from bunnings, also works well for the fence and looks great. i'm sure i saw solar decking lights as well... goodluck!
