To me if the walls are bare plaster they need an undercoat then two top coats if the painter is by the book they always use an undercoat and then two top coats on previously painted surfaces SOME painters in new homes and large appartment blocks use two coats only on bare plasterboard one is a base ...

Best and longest wearing is a two pack epoxy but the colour range may be a bit limited - may be a bit industrial but certainly long lasting! Sika make it, so maybe try someone who can get it in for you - Bunnings carry some Sika stuff. Be very careful when using two pack paints these have a stronge...

hey there are many ways to get around this 1. paint the floor in their standard state no sanding (if clean) using a product like wattyl solagard or dulux x10.... this is a solid colour so no grain of the timber will be seen 2. an exterior decking stain is still ok to use inside this has good durabil...

Hey "BRO" In my eyes you cant do much (do not use the sellys caulking for the main reason it wont stick to the clear you put on the floor and it will make a damn mess) the only thing i can suggest is to re nail down the floor boards to minimise the movement in them then get tome timbermate wood fill...

I have attempted to paint a feature wall in Pearl Copper effects, which has come out fantastically. However, my straight line, which butts into a corner of white, is not so straight and is driving me batty. Can any one give any hints or tips on how to acheive that perfect straight edge????
