Subdivision already existing, firebreaks in place for it, and we were told no further subdivision could occur.

I also recommend a Detail soil report and preliminary engineering estimates. The ROI is low at the moment, so you need to buy at the right price. Cheers Thanks 👍 I've been admiring your posts as I've read through the forum! There was a soil report done as part of the subdivision application to asse...

Hi H1! Back after half a decade 🎉 We are currently in the throws of purchasing a large subdivision in the Perth Hills and are wondering if we should be engaging a property solicitor to run over the title, plans and contract. The property has two easements on it, both on the title, one for the power ...

In true 'show me your backyard' style, here is the recently finished product after 3 years of bare yellow construction sand :) From zero to hero in 10 weeks! What a difference! Hope they provide some backyard inspiration for those needing it. Approximate cost $15,000 including materials, labour wher...

High five for awesome prep work! From what I've seen around the net, EZ is recommended to be mown at a height of 35 - 45 mm (http://www.empireturf.com.au/turf-maintenance-tips.html). I too notice that my EZ is a pretty vigorous grower - in warmer months and when it's got lots of water and nutrients....

Interesting thread. I'm curious to know how it went over winter and if it's springing back now with the days getting more sunny.

Hi all! Been awhile since I posted :) Howdy Master Fu! I have a 3 year old Empire Zoysia Lawn and would happily recommend it for those who want as little to do with their lawn as possible! We chose EZ lawn based on reports of it being hardy, low maintenance and relatively drough tolerant. Whilst it ...

Hi Clarkey, this is going back awhile but our site costs were pretty low, not more than $7000. Our developer had levelled the blocks and built up the footing with construction sand and I believe that this played a big part in keeping costs down. I would assume that the new places going in up the roa...

We're in Perth (Eastern Hills way) and our Empire Zoysia was laid around August 2010 on prepared soil. It's currently almost identical in colouration to our next door neighbour's Palmetto grass - patchy light-green and yellow with a bit of pink, though it's perking up with the increased sunshine of ...

This is EXACTLY the colour I've been looking at for my nursery! Umbrella Green hey. I was leaning towards Lime Parfait but it's a cooler green than I wanted. My carpet is the exact same colour as yours, and the existing walls are a colour that is only a shade or two warmer than the White Duck - so i...
