The build has really moved this week. Something happening every day. PCI is next week. For those just starting their build we had a site start in early August. Hi Ginz88, our Evolution 2300 is nearly finished. Likewise we have found the BB people good to work with. We have deleted the theartre room and incorporated the Alfresco within the roof line. Fingers crossed for hand over prior Xmas. Which Facade have you ordered?? Good luck with your build.

Our frame was correct to the perimeter of the slab. The SS was on site while the framers worked and checked their work. I have some other issues under discussion but not to the extent of sections of frame hanging in thin air.

Hi CD, looking at your time line you had carpet on 20/10. On the BB web site they show carpet as the last item before final payment. Can you tell me what else they need to do in your case given its nearly a month since carpet for your build??????????

Hi Coffedownunder, the build is moving along. Painting, tiling, electrical all nearly complete. Carpets and drive way yet to start. We are renting a couple of blocks away. Go past the build a couple of times a day on the way to shops etc. Get to see lots of Tradies and keep a close eye on progress.

If it helps to understand time BB were on site with our build in early August. Today the place is roofed, bricked, locked up, and plastered inside. They have also done the initial painting. Almost exactly 3 months from start to present state. Good luck.

Here are some more progress pics. The brick work is complete, the facade is almost complete as is the plaster inside. Suggest you don't get to worried about the Site Start Letter. In our case BB had scraped the site and I think the basic drainage was in before a Site Start Letter was put on My Place. Good Luck

Suggest you take care as you could be forced to do some expensive repairs if you buy the property. A relative of mine purchased a property with a list of items that didn't comply to standards. The Council forced rectification. Fortunately for them it was prior to sale.

I am building near by and drive thru there on the way home to compare progress. Suggest you look at the builders signs at Valley Lake. There are alot of smaller speciality builders operating there. Some builds seem to move quickly and some seem to Draaag. Good luck
