My daughter (5) is constantly leaving the lights on in every room she goes into (even during the day) but especially at night when she gets up to go to the toilet. Does anyone know where I can get one of those touch lights that stick to the wall, so she can just press it and get some light in the pa...

We have a sewer acces point manhole cover in our back garden. It is in the part of the garden we have planned to put an above ground sim spa. Will I need to get approval from anyone to put this over the manhole cover or because its an above ground none fixed structure should it be OK? Cheers

They look great Tan. What fixing did you use for the wall? We used Dynabolts, but the flush fitting ones, but we attached timer to the wall first, then the tracks to the timber, so we could use screws with smaller heads so the bar doesn't catch too much on them. Yes we retract the blinds in heavy wi...

Hi there, did you get any response yet? I have just ordered 2 blinds also in the twist lock system. The turnaround time in fact was one week. They were delivered by someone in the company. So I have no complaints there. I did have a couple of hiccups. I did ask for colour swatched to be sent to me ...
Yes i eventually got a response (I had to ring them, and finally got someone to pick up the phone). It turns out that p...

I was pointed to this company by a recommendation on here. And at first glance they seem to do a great product at a very good price. The online ordering system is simple and straightforward and allowed all options to be explored, and we decided on the twist lock with sunscreen fabric, at a cost of $...

I'm planning on using the left over bricks from our build to make an in built bbq and heat brick pizza oven. I think this will add value , or at the very least add an extra selling point for the house. What about the experts on here?

This is a little 2 meter by 12 meter strip of waste land at the side of my house, that I have no idea what to do with. It is on the easter side of my house, and it gets only maybe 2 hours worth of sun a day, so I cant turn it into a veg patch. So my question is.....what can I do with it??[img] [IMG]...

The slab under our house is evidently not level or even (as I thought it would have) away from the centre of the slab to allow water to run off. Nope our Alfresco area slopes towards the centre of the house, thus meaning when it rains any water that comes in and lands on the concrete flows towards t...

Just thought I'd give a quick review on the X ray remote! Been using it jsut over a month now, and after some teething problems (involving getting a full days worth of charge into the transmitter), it is working brilliantly! I've got it sitting at the back of my room 'blasting' the signal from there...

I have been forced by my lovely body corp company to add some colour to the side of my driveway to 'soften' down the impact of requiring a concrete slab to park my car on! Grrrr So to soften this they have agreed to let me plant some flowers / bushes in a little strip of soil I have on the side of m...
