What if the builder then says you need 40k of piering? 5k of aggi drains? Why can't the builder give you costs before the cut? I have had 3 different houses fully cos...

Wow! 20k just for the cut! My block has 2.5m of fall, just under 2m across the building footprint, so we'll have around 1m cut and 1...

Wow, if he's wanting to charge that much just to do that cut/fill... what is he charging to do the rest?? Pretty fair deal for the building....

G'day everyone. I just settled a block with 1.5 metres falls from the back to the front. Now I need to cut the block. Could anyone give me some suggestion regarding to the site cut? Anyone have good bob cat man to recommend? Where can I dump the soil for a bargain in Pakenham area? Thanks everyone....
Just be sure that your chosen builder will build on a site where you have done the cut yourself. Some won't and if you ...

We used a guy called Chris from Melbourne Dingo (0419 206 103) - very nice bloke, reasonably priced - can take the soil away for you - he has a bobcat and a dingo. We're in Epping but he seems to travel about the place. He was professional in that he gave me some honest feedback about what I wanted...
