Hey guys Has anyone had to have Telstra come out to dig a trench to the Telstra pit? I know I am paying $299 for the connection fee but because of the estate they also have to get people out to dig a trench to their pit. Has anyone had this done in the Doreen area and how much does it cost?? Thanks

I just spoke with an actual builder they said the lock on the front is actually a builders lock which means builders keys can open it and during hand over the proper one is put on which will be for our keys. But they said that sometimes that key can be left on site if organised.

My uncle is a builder and he says some builders leave a spare set on site so they can get in. Why would a tradie drive all the way over one side of town to pick up keys, drive all the way back to work on the house and then drive all the way back to drop them back off????

I guess its normal if they need to go, they gotta go and i suppose I would rather that then on my alfresco walls!!! I don't understand people who cant flush or wash hands. It is basic hygiene and also common sense! Well I guess its gloves and bleach for me when we move in!

I heard a horror story the other day and it freaked me out. I was told the tradies will use your brand new toilet! Has anyone had any horror stories from the workers using their bathrooms while finishing off your house! Will have to use extra bleach when I move in!!!

Hi everyone!!! Just a question... I'm a bit confused. Our cabinets are in but I've got no floor tiles yet. Is that normal???? Some people thought I'd have a floor before cabinets and that they would go over the tiles. Is that the way it goes??? Thanks

We just got told its been to the developer and is now at council. The council reckons about 2 weeks!!! The waiting is so frustrating because we are all ready to go. Contract signed, colourx chosen, loan approved, we just have to sit and wait for the slow council to get there act together!!!!
