Thanks for the reply... The wall is an internal wall between two rooms (lounge & family), but meets the external wall that runs across the two rooms. Couldn't see any other signs of dampness anywhere in house. Thx BB

Hi all, Our house is/was due to be ready by Xmas. 2 days ago we noticed a wet patch on slab under an internal wall in the adjoining rooms.
