We have just bought one too, we have not built our kitchen yet but I am looking forward to putting it into use. Have you gone for the white or stainless steel? We have selected the white one but now sure if we need to match the cabinets to it? Finding it hard to find the right white to match it.

Hi all, Trying to settle on a dishwasher. I think at the moment we have narrowed it down to the Neff integrated (S52P69X0EU) or the Bosch Built in (SBU69T05AU). They are pretty much the same (internally), though what I like about the Neff is the buttons and the 4 year guarantee. Does anyone have any...

I love this colour scheme, the facade appears to be a soft creamy colour, white windows and black louvres & tiles. Can anyone suggest what the creamy facade colour may be? Do you think it will give the same impression on a weatherboard home - (1950's non heritage)? Thank you!! http://www.mylusci...

It has been 6 years down the track and hoping you can share how the build went? If it has been successful and economical, would you mind sharing who you used.

As a matter of interest, has anyone contemplated or has actually tiled their own pool? Is the process any different to tiling a kitchen / bathroom? Granted there are specific materials that need to be used and a whole lot more hours (weeks) to be spent tiling a big pool. For anyone who does have a f...

No probably not, I think we will end up with 2 bathrooms (shower & basin) and 2 separate (standalone) toilets. I thought that I may have had to move a wall but it looks like I can split the bedroom (3x3.2) (west facing) into a toilet and separate bathroom. I am proposing to have bedrooms facing ...

In our current house we have 2 showers and realistically each shower is never used at the same time (family of 5). We are looking at relocating however before we do so we want to extend the house. I am in 2 minds whether to install 2 showers in this house. Granted there will definitely be 2 toilets ...

We are interested in obtaining a small weatherboard house to be transported onto our block. Where is a good place to start? Do we contact Council first to ask if we can do this? Assuming all is ok with Council, and aside from ebay, gumtree & trading post, where else is a good place to find or lo...

Current experience with Dulux W&W is not what I had expected, or perhaps it was my style of cleaning (I have a record of bad relationships when I mix cleaning with paint). Example, our little toddler of ours found some pencils and decided to try his artestry on our walls and doors. After some ge...

Thank you chippy for your response and your explanation. Given that the depth of the screed is 4cm deep to get down to the floorboards - it just sounds like too much trouble. Having removed that tile, the screed seems quite level so perhaps we might be able to lay floating laminate floor over the to...

Thank you shadowarrior, I am quite excited at the prospect of purchasing an induction cooktop and as I am entering into unfamiliar territory, I want to ensure that what we get is best value for money. I have undertaken a bit of a search on induction cooktops and whilst I have found a few posts on these they are a few years old, and considering technology advances thought I'd create a new topic to see the type of feedback received. For those who have always used gas cooktop and have made the switc...

Speaking with a cabinet salesperson today they mentioned that laminex is much better than 2pac, even though 2pac is dearer. It will outsurvive the 2pac. I know that 2pac is susceptible to scratches, etc but never knew that laminate is superior. Is this true?
