Can anyone give me a ballpark figure please of what it costs to put a new roof either tiles or colourbond, we have a very small 2 bed cottage, and wondering whether to repair our roof at a cost of around 3k or replace it, we need new gutters too.

Thank you, i went with dulux half celery, its ok, a bit limey, i want a bit more olive, but everyone likes it. Think i will just do white trim, too scared to pick another colour. :lol:

Ok, i think i will as i need as much help as i can get :lol: today i cleaned a section with the karcher and broom, its almost a bare surface, a bit greeny but dad reckons that might be some old paint, don't have any sugar soap, so will get that 2moro and do it again.

Thank u for that, so for the outside is this the paint? http://www1.valspar.com/image/component/ProductComponent/productLargeImage/1/4927750.jpeg I think with prep will only go as far as brushing down with stiff broom and wet karcher as there may be a small % asbestos in fibro.

Thanks, some of the fibro is bare, some is painted, its patchy outside, inside whenever it peels we patch it up and paint it, outside i am thinking of spraying it down with high pressure water hose and scrubbing stiff broom, then might try a primer, think might try oil based paints. in the past have...
